Police: Man Allegedly Tried To Lure Child In Plymouth
PLYMOUTH, Minn. (WCCO) -- Police in Plymouth are looking for more information after a man allegedly tried to lure a girl while she was walking home.
According to police, the man was driving a full-size white pickup truck near 35th Avenue North and Lawndale Lane around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday when he approached a 10-year-old girl as she was walking home from her bus stop.
The girl told police the man rolled down the window of his truck and asked the girl to help him find his lost dog.
The girl immediately ran home and the man drove away, according to police.
Police said the man is described as being 20-30 years old with a dark complexion, possibly of East Indian decent. He had short black hair, a black goatee and a slight accent.
The truck is described as a full-size white pickup truck with a ladder on top and a large scratch on the rear passenger side.
