Police Make Arrest In Hit-And-Run That Injured 2
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- St. Paul Police have arrested a suspect in the hit-and-run crash that left two people critically injured.
Early Sunday morning, 22-year-old Nicholas Bergeland and 22-year-old Rebekka Peterson, both of St. Paul, were struck on the 1900 block of Grand Avenue.
Both victims were taken to Regions Hospital, where they were listed in critical condition earlier this week.
The driver fled the scene, but police soon recovered the car suspected in the hit-and-run, a silver Mazda2 of recent make.
On Friday, police said they had arrested 40-year-old Latocha Thomas in connection with the incident.
Criminal charges are expected against Thomas.
