Police Look For Suspects In Hudson Attempted Abduction
HUDSON, Wis. (WCCO) – Police in Hudson, Wis., are looking for two suspects that were involved in the attempted abduction of an 11-year-old girl on Wednesday.
The incident happened at about 3:10 p.m. on the 900 block of Grandview Drive. Police said the girl was walking home from Hudson Middle School when an older looking white vehicle pulled up next to her. The girl told police the vehicle was occupied by an adult male and adult female. The man yelled at the girl to get in the car.
The girl said no and took off running between houses in the neighborhood, authorities said.
The two suspects got out of their car and went running after the girl for a short distance before going back to the car. The girl was able to find children in the area who helped her call her father and eventually the Hudson Police Department.
Police describe the suspects as a white female with possible reddish hair and a white male who was wearing sunglasses during the incident. Police believe both suspects are in their 30s, and the vehicle they were driving in was an older looking white car that was dirty.

The Hudson Police Chief said late Wednesday night that his department has gotten a good amount of leads, but still needs help finding this couple.
Teresa Lefever lives in the same neighborhood where the girl was approached. She says there are two schools nearby and bike trails too. She had a discussion with her children Wednesday night to let them know what happened so they'll be careful.
"It's really a little crazy," she said. "We live here for a reason, so our kids can go to their friend's house and feel safe and walk around. So it's a scary thing to think it's happening so close to home."
Police say the girl was not hurt in the incident.
