Police Investigating Shooting Outside Minneapolis Bar
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities are investigating after at least one person was hurt in a shooting outside a downtown Minneapolis bar early Monday morning.
Police responded to the shooting at about 2:15 a.m. Monday outside the 400 SoundBar, which is just down the street from Target Field at 400 3rd Avenue North. When authorities arrived, they found one person suffering from at least one gunshot wound and possible stab wounds. That victim was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center.
Police obtained possible suspect information at the scene, stopped a vehicle and took its occupants into custody. Police said no arrests were made, and they're still looking for suspects.
Police recovered the weapon used in the incident, but have no further information on the incident. Authorities said what led up to the shooting is still under investigation.
Authorities said the public is not at risk and anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Minneapolis Police.
