Drugs Found In Vehicle Of Officer-Involved Shooting
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – St. Paul Police said Wednesday that several pounds of methamphetamine and marijuana were each recovered from a suspected vehicle involved in an officer-involved shooting Tuesday night.
The incident started just before 6 p.m. when police attempted to stop a vehicle near Interstate 94 and Dale Street that they believe was involved in a drug investigation. During the traffic stop, one man brandished a gun, forcing an officer to fire his weapon. The suspect was hit and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries at Regions Hospital.
A total of four suspects were arrested during the incident. A second vehicle associated with the incident fled the scene and was found abandoned about an hour later. Two men believed to be in that vehicle were arrested without incident at a restaurant.

The four suspects, who are currently in custody, were identified as 23-year-old Miguel Villa Lorenzano, 24-year-old Albert Diaz Huerta, 27-year-old Juan Ayala Gutierrez and 27-year-old Basurto Monano Eustaquio.
