Police Credited For Saving Man Stabbed Over Cigarette
MINNESOTA (WCCO) -- The quick thinking of three Minneapolis police officers is being credited for saving a man's life.
An officer saw two people arguing early Saturday morning on Nicollet Mall and 5th Street when a girl pulled out a knife and stabbed a man.
That officer called for help and officers Corey Schmidt and Adam Moen rushed in to give medical aid to the victim.
They used a special plastic dressing to stop the bleeding.
Police say the argument was over a cigarette. The man who was stabbed is doing OK.
Police arrested the 17-year-old girl for stabbing the man.
