Police: 5 Arrested For Stealing From Cars In Church Parking Lot
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officers have arrested multiple people in connection to recent thefts in Bemidji, authorities said Tuesday.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office says five suspects were arrested following thefts Sunday from cars in the parking lot of Calvary Lutheran Church. Investigators also allege the suspects robbed local businesses and retailers.
Those arrested are listed as: 30-year-old Nicole Lee Kramer; 25-year-old Paul (AKA Rocky) Louis Kramer; 48-year-old Joel Clarence Velisek; 27-year-old Lance David Week; and 23-year-old Kenneth Colter Christian Luzius. All are from Bemidji.
Officers also arrested three other people who are believed to be associates of the five above.
Police said they are: 21-year-old Jennifer Marie Brown, arrested for probation violation; 33-year-old Seth Michael Richardson, also arrested probation violation; and 31-year-old Samantha Lynn Miller, arrested for possessing meth. These three are also from Bemidji.
Officers executed multiple search warrants, which turned up much of the stolen property, police say. Law enforcement officials are now working with victims to return the stolen property.
Those arrested are now being held in Beltrami County Jail, pending formal charges.
