Police: 4 Arrested After Bingo Hall Robbery
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Ramsey County police arrested four men on Monday who were suspected of robbing a bingo hall early Saturday morning.
At around 1 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a robbery in progress at the Pot O ' Gold Bingo Hall, located at 3776 Connelly Ave. in Arden Hills, Minn. When they arrived, police said witnesses reported that two men robbed the bingo hall at gunpoint and then fled down a wooded embankment toward Snelling Avenue. The suspects were seen entering a white SUV that was waiting for them.
After a description of the SUV was put out, a Roseville police officer observed a SUV matching the description on Highway 694. The officer, assisted by several police departments, stopped the SUV and took four men into custody.
Cash and other items that linked the arrested men to the bingo hall were recovered from the SUV, police said.
The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office will continue to investigate.
