Police: 3 Killed In Iowa Crash Recently Moved From Mpls

CLINTON, Iowa (AP) — Authorities have released the names of the three people who were killed in the head-on collision in eastern Iowa.

The accident occurred last Friday on U.S. Highway 67 between Sabula and Clinton in Clinton County.

The Clinton County Sheriff's Office on Monday identified the victims as 30-year-old Devon Mapp, his girlfriend, 24-year-old Brittany McGee and their child, 5-month-old Da' Marion Mapp. The sheriff's office says they recently moved to Clinton from Minneapolis.

Officials say Mapp was passing another vehicle on a hill in a no-passing zone and collided head-on with an oncoming semitrailer.

The truck driver wasn't hurt.
