Police: 1 In Custody After Woman Found Dead In Mankato
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in Mankato said one person is in custody after a woman was found dead and a man was hurt following an incident at a residence Thursday morning.
Police responded to the incident on the 1400 block of Second Avenue and when they arrived, they found a woman dead. Police also said a man had been injured, and one male suspect was taken into custody.
Mankato Police said they believe the incident is isolated and that there's no immediate danger to the public.
Authorities didn't release any further details about the incident, which is under investigation.
The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting with the investigation.
