Police: 1 Dead, 1 Injured After Shooting In Mpls.
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- An early Saturday morning shooting on Franklin Avenue left one man dead and one in the hospital.
Police were called to an area near 21st Avenue South and East Franklin Avenue, and that's where a fight broke out about two hours before bar close.
The crowd was broken up, but police say they returned to the site with guns.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene and another taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Minneapolis police do not have anyone in custody and the investigation remains open.
