Police: 1 Dead, 1 Critical In Minneapolis Shooting
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police said one person is dead and another is in critical condition after an early-morning shooting in Minneapolis.
Authorities said two adult men arrived to Hennepin County Medical Center in a vehicle at about 1:42 a.m. Friday, and both had been shot. The passenger in the car was pronounced dead at HCMC, and the driver is listed in critical condition.
Police said a preliminary investigation indicates that the shooting might have taken place near the area of 15th Street and Chicago Avenue South. Authorities said they have homicide investigators at both scenes as they try to put together what happened. Police said no arrests have been made and they have no suspect information at this time.
The name of the victim as not yet been released and the incident is still under investigation.
