Officers In Plymouth Shootout ID'd; Gunman Died Of Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The identities of two Plymouth police officers involved in a fatal shootout Friday night have been released.
Authorities say Officers Steve Larson and Quincy Grabau are currently on routine paid administrative leave after the incident.
Corey Perry stabbed his fiancée, Trisha Nelson, and then shot her several times at a busy Plymouth intersection on Feb. 12.
Police then confronted Perry at the couple's apartment building nearby. Gunfire was exchanged and one of the officers was injured.
Authorities did not indicate which officer was injured, but said a gunshot wound was treated.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office said Perry died after shooting himself in the head.

Larson has been with the department since 2005, and Grabau since 2013.
Nelson and Perry were both 28 years old.
The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office is continuing the investigation.
