Plymouth Man Comes Home, Fights Off Burglar
PLYMOUTH, Minn. (WCCO) -- A suspected burglar has been arrested after the victim came home during the burglary, according to Plymouth police.
Police said the homeowner came home Thursday night to his house on the 15800 block of 27th Avenue North and found a burglar already there.
The two fought, but the burglar ran and escaped in a car. A short while later police were called about a suspicious car about 2 miles away.
Officers ran after the man and eventually found him hiding under the Interstate 494 overpass at County Road 6.
Police aren't sure if he was breaking into houses alone and said there might be more arrests.
