Plane Lands Safely At MSP After Engine Fails
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) -- A C-130 plane had to make an emergency landing at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport Wednesday morning after an engine failed, according to the Metropolitan Airports Commission.
The plane landed safely at the airport around 11:05 a.m. Airport officials couldn't specify where the plane was headed or where it came from because it was a military flight.
None of the nine crew members on the plane during the incident was hurt. C-130 planes have four engines and were originally designed as troop, medical evaluation and cargo transport aircraft.
