Peterson Voted To 6th Pro Bowl
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has been voted to his sixth career Pro Bowl.
The NFL made the announcement on Friday night. Voting was done by players, coaches and fans. Peterson has been voted in for all but one of his seven seasons.
Peterson is third in the NFL in rushing this season with 1,266 yards despite battling groin and hamstring injuries for much of the year. His 10 touchdowns rushing are also good for third in the NFL and he topped 10,000 yards in his career earlier this season.
Peterson's six Pro Bowl appearances ties him for fifth-most in franchise history. Randall McDaniel is the leader with 11 selections.
Peterson is listed as doubtful for the season finale against Detroit on Sunday.
