Pedestrian Killed By Minivan In Eagan
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A 27-year-old man is dead after a minivan hit him in Eagan.
It happened just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday night on Yankee Doodle Road near Coachman Road.
Police say the minivan struck the man after he ran into the lane of traffic. The driver swerved, but couldn't avoid hitting the man.
He was killed at the scene.
Police say it doesn't appear that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
