Pedestrian Critical After Hit-And-Run
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A pedestrian was taken to a hospital in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle along Central Avenue in Northeast Minneapolis Monday morning.
Minneapolis police said the vehicle was traveling southbound on Central. A man was crossing the street near 5th Street Southeast and was struck by the vehicle.
Police said the driver fled the scene.
The victim was taken from the scene to the hospital. He was listed in critical condition, but authorities said he is expected to survive his injuries.
Investigators said they don't have a description of the vehicle involved in the incident.
