Pawlenty Escapes Minn. Cold For Georgia Conference
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty is back on the road for a speech in Atlanta dealing with his approach toward government regulation.
Tuesday's speech was part of a summit being staged by groups that argue regulations are stifling economic growth. Pawlenty isn't being paid for his address and state money isn't being used for the travel, a spokesman said.
The possible 2012 presidential candidate has been on the move since deciding last year not to seek a new term as governor.
The conference is being put on by the Center for American, the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Salem Radio Network. Salem's lead voice, Hugh Hewitt, was also in Georgia for the summit.
