Pavement Buckles On Interstate 94 Due To Heat
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation has closed the left lanes of Interstate 94 near Lowry Avenue after the pavement buckled due to the high heat.
Traffic is being diverted from the area but there's quite a back-up heading west.
The pavement buckled just before 5 p.m.
Officials say there is no estimate at this time on how long it will take to reopen the lanes.
The closure is north of Lowry Avenue but south of Dowling.
