Patrol ID's Pedestrian Killed In Lake Elmo
LAKE ELMO, Minn. (WCCO) -- The State Patrol identified the pedestrian who was struck and killed while attempting to cross a Lake Elmo highway Thursday night.
The victim was 74-year-old John Berschens. He was apparently trying to cross Highway 36 near Keats Avenue when he was struck by a westbound car.
The driver of the car, 22-year-old Heather Pitzen of New Richmond, Wis., was not injured in the incident.
