Patrol: Fatal Head-On Crash Near Red Wing
HAYCREEK, Minn. (WCCO) -- One person is dead after a head-on crash in Goodhue County.
The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 58 in Haycreek.
According to the State Patrol, a car tried to cut between two other vehicles and slid on the wet pavement into oncoming traffic.
The car was broadsided by a pick-up truck.
The driver of the car was killed and a passenger was flown to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
The pick-up truck driver was taken by ambulance to Fairview Hospital in Red Wing.
