Patient Dies At Wis. Mental Health Facility
MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee County sheriff's office is investigating after a 57-year-old patient died at the Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division.
Staff had discovered the man unresponsive in his room just after 3 a.m. Saturday. Sheriff's detectives as well as Wauwatosa Fire Department medical personnel were called to the mental health facility.
Attempts were made to resuscitate the man, but he was declared dead by hospital doctors.
The man was the only occupant in the room. No foul play is suspected. The Milwaukee County medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death.
