Overnight Shooting In Minneapolis Leaves 1 Dead
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police in Minneapolis are investigating a shooting that left one person dead early Thursday morning.
The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. inside an apartment building on the 3000 block of Grand Avenue South.
Police say an adult male was found on the scene suffering from a gunshot wound. Crews tried to perform CPR, but he died at the scene.
Police don't believe the shooting was random and do not have anyone in custody yet.
There were several people inside the apartment at the time of the shooting, and police are currently interviewing them to find out what may have led up to the shooting.
