Power Outage Closes Stillwater Lift Bridge
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A power outage Tuesday forced a temporary closure of the Stillwater Lift Bridge.
MnDOT says the bridge, which spans the St. Croix River along the Minnesota-Wisconsin border, closed around 1 p.m. after getting stuck in the up position.
Motorists are encouraged to use other routes, and expect more traffic than usual in the area.
MnDOT says the bridge is expected to be closed for the rest the day.
