Officer Involved In Accident In North Metro
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It's been a rough day already on many Twin Cities metro area roads, and even police officers are included in that loop.
Anoka County Dispatch confirmed that an accident involved a police officer late Friday morning near the intersection of Highway 10 and Foley Boulevard in Coon Rapids. Authorities would not specify what department the officer was from or how many vehicles were involved in the accident.
Anoka County Dispatch said the officer needed to be extricated from the vehicle. The extent of the officer's injuries are not known at this time.
