Poll: Obama More Popular Than Gov. Walker In Wisconsin
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Scott Walker continues to be less popular in Wisconsin than President Barack Obama.
The Marquette University Law School poll released Wednesday shows Walker's approval rating to be 44 percent. Obama's is 52 percent.
Walker's approval rating is essentially unchanged from 43 percent three weeks ago. It was 38 percent in August.
Walker's approval rating has been around 40 percent for more than a year. It dropped to its lowest levels as Walker launched his failed presidential bid and it has not recovered.
The latest Marquette Law School Poll was conducted Oct. 6 through Sunday. It sampled 1,000 registered voters and the margin of error is plus or minus 3.7 percentage points.
