Obama To Visit Mpls. To Discuss Gun Control Plans
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- President Obama will head to Minneapolis Monday to discuss his comprehensive plan to reduce gun violence with city leaders and law enforcement, according to the White House.
President Obama announced his plans to visit Minnesota on Tuesday, but didn't immediately release details of his visit.

On Monday, February 4, President Obama will visit Minneapolis, Minnesota to discuss with local leaders and law enforcement officials his comprehensive set of commonsense ideas to reduce gun violence. Minneapolis is a city has taken important steps to reduce gun violence and foster a conversation in the community about what further action is needed. President Obama will visit with members of the community about their experiences and discuss additional steps that can be taken at the federal level to reduce gun violence.
