Obama, Romney Square Off Tonight In First Debate
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Denver will be in the spotlight Wednesday night as President Barack Obama and Republican candidate for President Mitt Romney square off in their first debate.
The presidential election is a month away and there will be three debates between the two candidates before Election Day. They will focus on domestic policies, like the economy, health care and the role of government.
Both men spent Tuesday getting ready for the debate. Romney is already in Denver, while the President has spent the past couple of days preparing in Nevada.

And the debate just happens to fall on the Obama's 20th wedding anniversary. First Lady Michelle Obama said in a recent TV interview, "Go figure." She is planning to be in the audience tonight. The President says they have a belated anniversary celebration planned for Saturday.
