Oakdale Man Gets 15 Years In Child Porn Case
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 51-year-old Oakdale man was sentenced to 15 years in prison in Minneapolis Federal Court Wednesday for distributing child pornography.
Brian Gene Montgomery was indicted on one count of distribution of child pornography on Aug. 17, 2011, and pleaded guilty on Oct. 20, 2011. In addition to 15 years in prison, Montgomery will be on supervised release for the rest of his life.
In his plea agreement, Montgomery admitted that on Feb. 23, 2011, he distributed an image over the Internet of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct. He also admitted to distributing similar images on several other occasions.
