Northstar: Trains Won't Be Ready Tuesday AM
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Northstar rail service will not be available Tuesday morning for its customers, but buses will be.
Northstar said that repairs to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway have taken longer than expected following the train derailment Saturday.
The buses will take Northstar customers from four stations, located in Big Lake, Elk River, Anoka and Coon Rapids, to Target Field. The Fridley station will remain closed to all commuters.
Northstar says customers may experience traffic delays while traveling to Target Field.
Trains may be available for commuters returning home by Tuesday night, Northstar said.
