No Serious Injuries After Brooklyn Park Bus Crashes Into Tree

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (WCCO) -- No one was hurt after a bus drove off the road Thursday afternoon, and crashed into a tree in Brooklyn Park.

Metro Transit said the bus was being contracted by Met Council via private transit provider Lorenz when it went off West Broadway at County Road 81, and struck a tree.

The bus driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and one customer, who claimed a back injury, declined medical transport.
