New Ulm Police Chief Arrested In Alleged Domestic Assault

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - New Ulm's police chief is in custody Wednesday night at the Faribault County Jail.

Myron Wieland, 54, is accused of domestic assault in an incident that happened at his home on Monday.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office investigated the allegations.

As a result, Wieland was arrested Wednesday at the Brown County Courthouse.
