New Rental Tower Proposed For Downtown Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A brand new high-rise proposed for downtown Minneapolis will be considered on Thursday by a city council committee.
The Opus Group wants to build a 33 story luxury apartment building on the corner of Fifth and Nicollet Mall.
Called the Nicollet Residences, it would be the first new high-rise rental building in downtown Minneapolis in nearly 30 years.
The developer says it will offer a "San Francisco or New York-type luxury high-rise apartment living experience that will be the first of its kind in Minneapolis."
