New Edition Coming To Target Center
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- They were big when they were together in the '80s. They were arguably even bigger when they broke off into separate acts and solo careers. Now, New Edition is getting back together and bringing their show to Target Center.
New Edition will be splitting the bill with Babyface on July 24 at 8 p.m.
The prototypical pop-R&B boy band first broke on the scene in 1983, and quickly shot to the top of the charts with hits like "Mr. Telephone Man," "Cool It Now," and "Count Me Out."
But then Bobby Brown went his separate way, and soon so too did Johnny Gill and Ralph Tresvant. Meanwhile, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins and Ronnie DeVoe formed Bel Biv Devoe and charted arguably one of the longest-lasting hits of the entire franchise's run with "Poison."
Among the songs crowds might expect to hear: "If It Isn't Love," "Rub You The Right Way," "Sensitivity," "When Will I See You Smile Again," and more.
Tickets will run from $42 to $128, and will go on sale at the Target Center box office or online on Friday, April 22 at 10 a.m.
