New Brighton Brothers Create Incredible Snow Shark
NEW BRIGHTON, Minn. (WCCO) - Three local brothers are taking the art of snowman making to a whole new level.
For the third year in a row, the Bartz brothers - Connor, Trevor and Austin - are making a snow sculpture in their yard in New Brighton.
Every year they choose to make an aquatic animal out of snow. In the past, they've created a pufferfish and a walrus out of the white stuff.
But this year, you could say they're jumping the shark.
"We like to see people's enjoyment, and we like to see people smile, take pictures," Connor said. "We also like to spend time with each other."
The brothers say it's taken them about 90 hours so far to create the snow shark.
They began making the sculpture on Dec. 3.
Their house is on the 2700 block of 16th Street Northwest in New Brighton.
