ND Oil Output A Record 701K Barrels In August
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The state Department of Mineral Resources reports that North Dakota oil producers pumped a record 701,134 barrels of crude in August.
Agency date show that's up from 676,249 barrels in July.
The agency says there were 7,701producing wells in August. That's up from 7,467 wells in July.
State Department of Mineral Resources director Lynn Helms says the oil production in August was helped by favorable weather.
