Names Of 2 Killed In Long Lake Crash Released
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota State Patrol released the names of the people killed in a head-on collision in Long Lake.
Bruce Harris, 57, and his wife, Arlana Harris, 57, were both killed just after 8 p.m. Monday on Highway 12.
The State Patrol said Bruce Harris was driving the car that crossed the center line and hit a pick-up truck head on.
The man driving the truck, Terrance Alexander, 54, was also injured. He was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center where he is in critical condition.
The State Patrol closed Highway 12 for part of the night so they could reconstruct the accident.
Officers said roads were dry at the time and they are not sure if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
