N. Mich. Gets Sweep Of St. Cloud St. With 2-1 Win
ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — Reed Seckel's third-period goal was the game-winner as Northern Michigan came from behind to beat St. Cloud State 2-1 Saturday in men's college hockey.
The Wildcats (8-10-3), who won Friday's game 6-2, fell behind 1-0 on Jonny Brodzinski's goal in the second period. But NMU tied it 1-1 on Kyle Follmer's goal with one second left in the period.
Seckel scored at 9:55 of the third period.
NMU goalie Jared Coreau had 37 saves, while Ryan Faragher made 19 saves for the WCHA-leading Huskies (12-10-0).
