MSP Airport Wins 2 Awards For Concessions
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Service at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport is standing out by winning two awards off the tarmac and in the terminal.
Surdyk's Flights won first place with Best New Food and Beverage Concept category. Locally-owned Surdyk's pairs gourmet foods with a variety of fine wines, served to-go or on their patio seating area in Terminal 1.
MSP's Concourse C Cart Program also took home an award, winning second place for the Best Specialty Retail Program.
The program gives opportunities to smaller businesses to become involved in airport retailing. It allows quick changes in concepts and product offerings in response to seasonal shifts or consumer demand. There are seven carts between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
The award winners were determined by the Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA). To learn more about the awards, click here.
