MSP Airport Seeks Navigation Volunteers
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A foundation at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport is seeking men and women who can be "Minnesota Nice" while dealing with the occasional stress that comes along with the bustle of a busy airport.
The Airport Foundation MSP is recruiting 100 volunteers to serve as "MSP Navigators." Tasks will include welcoming and directing passengers in the ticketing lobby, helping manage security checkpoint lines and providing directions to passengers at the baggage claim and tram levels.
Each volunteer must be at least 18 years old and pass a 10-year background check and attend 12 hours of training. Volunteers must commit to working eight hours a month.
Interested volunteers can call (612) 467-0811 or fill out an online application.
