MSFA: Vikings Stadium 40% Complete
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The new Minnesota Vikings Stadium in downtown Minneapolis is now 40 percent complete.
The Minnesota Sports Facility Authority says over one million hours of work have gone into the nearly $1 billion stadium as of Friday.
Workers are on track to enclose the building this November, allowing them to continue working on the interiors throughout the winter.
Eighty percent of the concrete work is also finished. The stadium is scheduled to be completed by August of 2016.
