Ex-Mrs. America Due In Court On Alleged Macy's Theft
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A former Mrs. America charged with swindling is due in court Monday morning.
Authorities say 50-year-old Jennifer Kline, originally from Wayzata, switched tags on clothing items before returning them, costing Macy's more than $5,000.
She bought the designer clothes from Southdale Macy's in November before allegedly returning different, used clothing to Mall of America.
This will be the second time Kline appears in court on the charge.
If convicted, she faces 10 years in prison and a $20,000.
