Mpls. Stabbing Victim Dies
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A man who was stabbed this weekend in Minneapolis has died, marking the city's fifth murder this year.
On Wednesday, the Minneapolis Police Department's Homicide Unit was notified that the man who was stabbed Saturday at 2427 18th Avenue South had passed away.
The crime, which police think all stemmed from a party, happened just after 5 a.m. Officers got a call to go to the stabbing scene and found the injured man, Joshawa Bruce, outside the building.
Bruce, 19, was brought to Hennepin County Medical Center where he stayed until his death.
Police said another man was arrested at the scene but later released without charges.
