Police: Woman Helps Police Arrest Man Who Stole Her Car
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis Police say a woman helped authorities arrest a man who allegedly stole her car at gunpoint.
According to police, after leaving a residence in south Minneapolis, the 24-year-old woman entered her car when a man approached the driver's side door, opened it and pointed a handgun at her. She then got out of the car and the man fled in her vehicle.
Two days later, the woman was at a gas station on 22nd Street West and Lyndale Avenue South when she saw the man drive up in another car.
She called police and the 25-year-old man was arrested.
Later, the woman's vehicle was recovered on the 4700 block of Nicollet Avenue.
Police are investigating.
