Mpls. Police: 2 Adults, 2 Students Hurt After Buses Collide
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A collision between two buses in south Minneapolis resulted in two students and two adults hurt, according to police.
Minneapolis police spokesman John Elder says the incident occurred at 9:23 a.m. on 36th Street East and 1st Avenue South.
One bus hit another bus, redirecting it into a house. The second bus had 13 students on board. Of those students, two were taken to the hospital with very minor injuries.
Both bus drivers were also taken to the hospital with seatbelt injuries.
The students injured were from Whittier Elementary.
