Mpls Man Pleads Guilty To Fleeing Duluth Prison
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A federal inmate who escaped prison in Duluth earlier this year pleaded guilty to his illegal flight Thursday in federal court.
Michael Joseph Krzyzaniak, 64, of Minneapolis, escaped the federal prison camp in March 2013 and specifically pleaded guilty to one count of escape from custody.
Krzyzaniak admitted that on March 30, 2013, he left without authorization and was arrested on April 5, 2013 at a Burnsville motel.
He was serving a 151-month sentence for a 2012 conviction of wire fraud and tax evasion.
