Mpls. Heroin Dealer Sentenced In Little Falls Teen's Overdose Death
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 30-year-old Minneapolis man has been sentenced to over 11 years in prison for his involvement in the heroin overdose death of a Little Falls teen, the Morrison County Attorney's Office announced Monday.
On Oct. 30, a Morrison County Judge found Keon "Bird" Mangun guilty of third-degree murder. He'll now spend 134 months in prison.
Authorities say that on Feb. 27, 2012, Mangun sold heroin to a man, identified as Brandon Bedford, who gave it to Miranda Gosiak. She died of a heroin overdose the next day.
Bedford is currently being held in the Morrison County Jail with unconditional bail set at $1,000,000 and has a pretrial hearing set for Jan. 15, 2014.
