Mpls. Committee Denies Rezoning For Uptown Trader Joe's
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minneapolis City Council Committee said no Wednesday to the proposal for a planned Trader Joe's store in Uptown.
The company wants to build a store near 27th and Lyndale Avenue South. But the zoning and planning committee voted unanimously against rezoning for just one business.
The full City Council is expected to go along with the Committee's recommendation.
There are no Trader Joe's in Minneapolis, but they are in several surrounding communities.
