More Details Released In Apple Valley Murder-Suicide
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Apple Valley Police Department says investigators found no signs of intrusion or struggle in the deaths of a family whose bodies were discovered last week.
On Saturday, Jan. 17, a neighbor discovered the bodies of 29-year-old David Crowley, his 28-year-old wife Komel and their 5-year-old daughter, Rani, in their home at 1051 Ramsdell Drive.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has since determined that Crowley shot and killed his wife and daughter before taking his own life. They all died of gunshot wounds to the head.
Apple Valley police released a series of updates Friday, saying the three bodies were found in close proximity to each other in the front room of the house with no signs of struggle found.
Police also said the last verified activity from the residence happened in late December.
Now, investigators are analyzing several personal electronic devices and computers seized from the house.
"The analysis of these devices could provide important information about this incident,"
Apple Valley Police Captain John Bermel said. "But that analysis will take time."
The investigation is ongoing.
